Stepping into this trip felt like stepping into a different rhythm of life — slower, deeper, and beautifully unfamiliar. The traditional Korean games we played, inspired by "Squid Game" but rooted in real cultural history, had us laughing, teaming up, competing — and bonding. But the real magic unfolded in the places we visited. At the UNESCO World Heritage site, Sosu Seowon (Sosu Neo-Confucian Academy) — still active today — I felt like I had walked into a living piece of wisdom. The wooden halls and quiet courtyards whispered stories of centuries past. Then, standing before the Sunheung Mural Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site, I was struck by a quiet reverence. There was something powerful about being in the presence of a place that has outlived kingdoms. The Buseoksa Temple, high in the mountains and dressed in lanterns for Buddha’s day, felt like a dream. The way the lanterns swayed against the sky, the view stretching out over the valley… I just stood still, grateful, breathing it in. Our accommodation was another layer of beauty — cozy, serene, with windows that opened onto the hills. Every meal was a discovery of flavors I didn’t know I’d been missing. (Honestly, the food was so good I completely forgot to film it — I was too busy enjoying it.) We even had the chance to make a small lotus bell — inspired by the tomb we visited — and an eco-friendly traditional sponge. Slowing down to work with our hands reminded me how grounding creativity can be. I came home not just with photos, but with a full heart. Thank you, @funday korea.networks, for this rich, thoughtful, beautifully designed journey. I’ll carry its warmth with me for a long time.
